I’m a vet tech and here’s what your dog breed really says about you

THEY say you can tell a lot about owners by looking at their dogs, and according to one vet tech, that couldn’t be more true.

Whether you are a ‘bossy’ Schnauzer owner or a ‘unique’ Dalmatian lover who likes to stand out, she will reveal exactly what your dog breed reveals about you.

In the clip posted to TikTok, the dog guru named McKenna discusses the Schnauzer, which she admits she loves despite the fact that they are “so bossy.”

“They really believe they are watchdogs and will tell you what they want when they want it,” she says.

For anyone who owns this dog breed, McKenna predicts that you’re probably a leader in the fashion industry, adding that your dog matches your “strong personality.”

Next one There’s the Shetland Sheepdog, also known as the Sheltie, which she praises for being “great listeners” and “very obedient.”

According to the vet, if you own this breed of dog, chances are you’re super empathetic and are the person friends call when they need advice.

She also discusses the “intelligent” poodle, which she compares to a human trapped in a dog’s body.

McKenna notes that the loyal breed is happy to follow you wherever you go and will be your best friend. She adds that no matter how big they get, they make the best companions.

As for the German Shorthaired Pointer, McKenna admits that she has worked with very few well-behaved people.

If you own this breed of working dog, the vet thinks you are probably someone who wants to give the impression that you enjoy the outdoors.

Moving on, McKenna says that dog owners who choose a Doberman are usually looking for a “tough looking” dog that is gentle deep down.

Describing her experiences with the breed, she says they use their fearsome behavior when they feel it is necessary, but are generally playful dogs who enjoy being silly.

Then there is the ‘challenging’ Dalmatian.

If you possess any of these, McKenna predicts that you are someone who likes to stand out from the crowd.

As for the owners of Bernese Mountain Dogs, whom she describes as gentle giants, the vet tech assumes you’re probably a fan of The Office or Friends, are super chilled and have a great sense of humor.

The post has since gone viral, racking up a whopping 1.1 million views and several comments from pet owners, with many sharing their own personal experiences.

“Cocker Spaniel crosses are the best family dogs. Don’t shed. Super smart. Super sweet and cuddly. I’ve never met a bad cockapoo,” wrote one.
