A new true crime series on Fox Nation, hosted by James Patterson, delves into unsolved murders and their unanswered questions.

“It’s hard to forget a murder mystery,” says Patterson in the trailer Unresolved with James Pattersonwhich premiered in March. “Especially an issue that has not yet been resolved.”

The third episode of Unresolved, which streams on Fox Nation, explores the brutal murder of Brian Egg, whose decapitated corpse was found in a fish tank in his San Francisco home in 2018. (An exclusive clip from the episode can be found below.)

PEOPLE previously reported that Egg, 65, was reported missing a week before his remains were found in the tank. Police were called to the home when neighbors saw two men in the home.

One of the men, Robert McCaffrey, who was in the home, was arrested. The other, Lance Silva, was arrested hours later at a nearby hotel. A cleaning crew was hired to clean the place.

In an affidavit previously obtained by PEOPLE, Egg’s credit card is used to purchase a BMW. According to the affidavit, a car salesman identified Silva as the person who purchased the vehicle.

Silva allegedly used the stolen credit card to pay the cleaning company, police said at the time.

Both men were charged with multiple crimes, including murder, but the charges were ultimately dropped, according to a report by ABC 7.

No one has been charged since.

Episode 3 of Unresolved, ‘The Fish Tank’ wants to shed more light on the matter.

“In this episode, viewers will hear from Egg’s closest neighbor and friends in the area, along with an investigative journalist who chronicles all the bizarre twists and turns in the hunt for Brian’s as-yet-unnamed killer,” according to a Fox Nation press release.

According to the release, other episodes of the series explore the 2017 murder of Nanette Krentel, a kindergarten teacher in rural Louisiana and wife of the local fire chief, and the murder of Utah student Elizabeth Salgado, who went missing in 2015 before being left behind . were found in 2018.
