Can you believe HBO’s? The Jinx premiered nine years ago? After all this time, there’s now a six-episode sequel to the true crime phenomenon, covering everything that’s happened since the ‘kill them all’ reveal, complete with new interviews. by Robert Durst prison phone calls before he died in 2022, and previously unshared details about his crimes. As a follow-up, The Jinx – Part Two largely succeeds. It leans toward a prosecution drama that relies less on new bombshell evidence and humanizes the friends and lovers Durst endeared without assuaging their guilt.


Dead boy detectives (Netflix, Thursday, 3:01)

Neil Gaiman The Netflix universe then expands The sandman of Dead boy detectives. Charles Rowland (George Rexstrew) and Edwin Paine (Jayden Revri) avoid the afterlife by staying on Earth to solve supernatural crimes after they die. The eight-episode drama also stars Briana Cuoco, Jenn Lyon, Lukas Gage, Lindsey Gort and Ruth Connell. And yes, expect a crossover as Kirby Howell-Baptiste reprises her role as Death The sandman here. Watch out for The AV club‘s review of the show on Thursday.

Rapper Jeezy narrates Hip-hop and the White Housewhich examines the influence of black culture on American politics over the past fifty years, specifically (and interestingly enough) through the lens of various presidential administrations.

Anthology horror series from Little Marvin and Lena Waithe Them is back for season two. Deborah Ayorinde is the only original cast member to return, and this time she plays LAPD officer Dawn Reeves, who is on a mission to solve the murder of her foster mother. Pam Grier, Luke James and Jeremy Bobb star.
