Auction house Christie’s has announced that the unique watches will be on display in New York from May 3 to 5, coinciding with the Miami Grand Prix weekend, before being auctioned on May 13 in Geneva, Switzerland.

Champion driver Schumacher’s family owns a variety of watches that he has collected over the years.

Eight of the Formula 1 legend’s opulent and personalized watches Michael Schumacher will be auctioned, with a potential total value of more than $4.8 million.

It is reported that auction house Christie’s has announced that the unique watches will be on display in New York from May 3 to 5, coinciding with the Miami Grand Prix weekend, before being auctioned in Geneva, Switzerland on May 13.

Champion driver Schumacher’s family owns a variety of watches that he has collected over the years. Christie’s head of watches, Remi Guillemin, reportedly said that “recently they decided to part with specific watches in the collection, which they believed would allow watch collectors to appreciate the true value of the pieces.”
