A12 northbound, near Copdock Interchange, Ipswich, closed due to ‘significant fuel leakage’

Part of a major road has been closed after a tanker truck overturned and leaked fuel.

Suffolk Police were called to a ‘serious collision’ at the Copdock Interchange – where the A12 and A14 meet – at around 4.30pm.

National Highways said the A12 northbound has been closed between Junction 32B and Junction 55 on the A14 due to a ‘significant fuel spill’.
