Adena Mansion and Gardens for plant sales and art classes

CHILLICOTHE – Adena Mansion and Gardens’ annual Heirloom Plant Sale is back. Sales focus on heirloom plants which are varieties grown and passed down before the advent of industrial agriculture. Many plants date back at least to the days of Worthington, where flowers, tomatoes, vegetables and herbs can be purchased.

This year’s sale starts on Saturday, May 4 and runs until Sunday, May 19. Opening hours are Wednesday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm, Sunday from 12pm to 5pm and closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Also on May 4, join the Adena Mansion and Gardens as they continue to honor Skip Hathaway and her love of art with Skip into Art. Join Steve Patrick for an art class for ages five and up. Children must have a parent or supervisor with them. Admission to this event is free and art supplies will be provided.
