More than 500 members of the Republic of Fiji Armed Forces and their family members were part of the family church service held today at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.

This was part of their reconciliation and reinstatement within the force and was also aimed at them also reconciling with their family members.

The reconciliation and recovery movement was led by the Commander of the Armed Forces, Ro Jone Kalouniwai, on March 3 this year and will end on November 2.

In a statement, the RFMF said their calling is to serve the nation with dignity and without compromise.

They say this is a new beginning in the force, looking back since 1987, so far it has been about 37 years and now they are trying to work together and leave all differences behind for prosperity purposes. Meanwhile, this was also the first RFMF family service.
