CBS Entertainment’s Amy Reisenbach: “It’s definitely a time of tumult and change”

CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach arrived at the Banff World Media Festival on Tuesday amid unprecedented changes in the global industry.

“It’s definitely a time of tumult and change,” Reisenbach said during an informal speech on the In Conversation With: series. “Despite everything going on, we are having this fantastic year and we feel like we can go into next season with this momentum.”

Reisenbach’s appearance in Banff came as CBS Entertainment parent Paramount Global, the Hollywood studio led by controlling shareholder Shari Redstone, considers a possible takeover by Skydance and RedBird Capital, or other potential suitors. “I can’t say anything about mergers and acquisitions. It’s really beyond me,” she said at the beginning of her lecture.
